layers & unseen structures

Mark Liebenrood's work 'Wall Gazing' appears to be calm,
but opens up an unseen world of small gestures, patterns, layers and craters.
Four tiny squares from the construction on the left got photographed and enlarged -to appear on the right.

Floating frames, relations & perspective

Ekachai Eksaroj's piece 'untitled' is as site specific as it can get!
A massive frame is hanging from the ceiling at Little Southgate, as big as the measurements of the back wall.
Standing in front of it does make the perspective clear.
But stepping through it, as Ekachai said, will let you loose all your memory.
Enjoy!

Berlin's history partly erased - but reinterpreted

Alice Monaghan's work 'Blockade' deals with the history - and the recent 25th birthday of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
This topic ties in with her practice, erasure is an important word talking about Alice.
The Absence makes us look.

Listening to a wall

With her booklet/installation 'Wall', Megan Hoyle achieved that every incoming art-lover pushes his/her ears against the exhibition walls.
As entertaining as it looks - it is a very meditative situation.

Flaut M. Rauch - an incredible amount of jelly

It is tempting to touch or to lick.
'The Tamed Terms' by Flaut M. Rauch is sticking on the wall by itself -  overcoming gravitiy
Gummy bears, cherrys, snakes, icebears and many more melted together into an abstract object.

Jenny Wylie's sound pieces

They let you drift away.
3 different sound pieces invite you to sit down or walk around the space whilst being in a different world.
The world where stories are revealed, sounds are hidden and directions could be given.
