'The Manifesto of the Wall' is one of 22 curated exhibitions of FaB.
In our common environment, everything
has a purpose and history to it, which is worth exploring. Walls seem to be an
accessible example, as once they are raised; they get taken for granted and
exploited instead of used for what they are – objects of their own.
Especially within the arts: hammering
in nails, hanging paintings or taping posters onto them is a form of adding,
but not including.
Why shouldn’t a wall be seen as an
autonomous item?
We say it should: work with and within
your walls instead of working around it!
